The Extension has no secondary commercial objectives, remote data collection operations, or third-party analytical tracking.

2. What the Extension Does

When you browse YouTube, Resolve Tube performs the following specific client-side actions:

• Appearance Customization: Applies user-selected themes, color styling, typography adjustments, thumbnail styling, cards, navigation bar, and sidebar styling locally via CSS injection.
• Player Controls: Customizes the YouTube video player surface appearance, glowing borders, and playback-related controls.
• Layout Adjustments: Reconfigures layout arrangements across YouTube homepage, search results, and watch pages.
• Behaviour Configuration: Provides productivity and viewing controls including focus mode, keyboard shortcuts, and distraction management.
• Advanced Settings: Manages custom CSS overrides, settings backup/export/import, and performance optimization toggles.

All information processed by Resolve Tube is used strictly for real-time user-interface rendering:

• To render user preferences (e.g. dark modes, glowing player borders, layout widths) upon page load.
• To load user-uploaded background wallpaper images or video loops onto the YouTube page canvas from local storage.
• To enable instant export and import of customization profiles directly between JSON files on your device.

• No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, Google account identifiers, or location data.
• No Viewing or Watch History: The extension does not record, catalog, or transmit videos watched, playlist items, or subscriber channels.
• No Search or Keystroke Logging: Search terms typed into YouTube and keyboard interactions are not monitored or logged.
• No Cross-Site Data: The extension has zero permissions on any domain other than YouTube.

We do not sell, rent, monetize, trade, or transfer any user data, customization configurations, or browsing information to third parties, advertising networks, data brokers, or market research firms. Zero data leaves your computer.

8. Data Deletion & User Control

You retain complete control over all data created or stored by Resolve Tube:

• Resetting Settings: You can reset all customization preferences to default values at any time using the Reset option in the Resolve Tube panel.
• Removing Media Assets: You can delete uploaded wallpaper images and videos individually within the extension interface.
• Complete Data Purge: Uninstalling the extension from your browser automatically deletes all Chrome Storage entries and IndexedDB records associated with Resolve Tube.

9. Security & Sandbox Isolation

Resolve Tube is built on Google Chrome's Manifest V3 architecture, strictly enforcing isolated world execution for content scripts and eliminating arbitrary remote code execution. The extension executes entirely within the client-side sandbox provided by the Chromium engine.

10. Third-Party Services & Telemetry

Resolve Tube does not embed third-party analytics libraries (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Sentry), tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or external font/script loaders.

Resolve Tube does not collect or transmit personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

12. Chrome Web Store Compliance

Resolve Tube complies fully with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements:

• The use of information received from Chrome Web APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Data accessed by the extension is restricted exclusively to providing user-facing customization and styling features on supported YouTube pages.
• No data accessed through permitted APIs is transferred to third parties.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy if the extension’s functionality changes, or to reflect technical enhancements or regulatory adjustments.
